Need footer editing option

Currenlty we can not edit footer. Its basic and necessary thing. As soon as we are adding any new page that page automatically going in "Information" menu in footer which is just increasing the lenght of footer and giving more ugly look of website. Instead of this if admin can edit their footer and choose which link should be availalbe in which menu will be more user friendly.
